T³ Computer Solutions

Free Geek is a project that was started in Oregon that provides computers to people whom may not otherwise have access to them.

The reason this is mentioned here is for further expansion of the FOSS “Free Open Source Software” initiative while providing computing solutions to everyone.

While this is just an idea at the moment once floor space and storage space become available we will start to take donations from the community. The idea here is that computer equipment is hard to recycle and typically can cost big dollars to a company to have them sent off for recycling, so what will be done is they will be donated at a very reduced cost, NSA wiped clean, reinstalled with Fedora or Ubuntu and given back to the community that has a need for a computer.

Again this initiative is in the planning phases but once things start to roll you can expect Tioga County New York to be the 3rd location of a Free Geek project.
